Prof. Ijeoma Georgina Ayubu, has unveiled a book titled," Plateau Rising", a publication aimed at redefining and stimulating the state's peaceful coexistence and economic prosperity.

Prof. Ijeoma who held from the department of urban and regional planning, University of Jos, acknowledged having been on the Plateau for years the state is endowed potentials but retagents for decades, hence the need to change the narrative.

The book author who was speaking during the official presentation of the book on Thursday in Jos, said 'Plateau Rising' is not just a publication but a movement.
"Plateau Rising is a comprehensive development blueprint for a peaceful and prosperous future, presented in two volumes. Volume One focuses on historical and foundational frameworks, while Volume Two outlines strategic blueprints and implementation agendas.

"It offers a practical, data-driven, and human-centered roadmap for rebuilding Plateau State, addresses socio-economic transformation, peace, governance, and sustainable development, bridges the gap between academia and policymakers, Relevant for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in urban and regional planning as well as a catalyst for collaboration and implementation of development initiatives."
Highlighting the comprehensive blueprint for Plateau advancement as contained in the publication, the book reviewer, the Honourable commissioner ministry of youths and sports development, Hon. Ibrahim Musa Ashoms represented by Dr. Hassan Tifwa confirmed that volume one dwell on the historical context and institutional mapping, demographic and spatial analysis and Socio-cultural insights.

While volume two focuses on
governance and peace building blueprint, infrastructure and economic diversification plan,
agricultural development and modernization,urban renewal and informal sector upgrade,
peace economy and human capital development.
