Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel has extended warm and heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his well-earned re-emergence as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside other members of the National Working Committee.

The Speaker described Prof. Yilwatda’s re-emergence through a peaceful and widely embraced consensus as a resounding vote of confidence in his sterling leadership, tested capacity, and unifying disposition, noting that it further reflects the strength and maturity of internal democracy within the party.

He emphasized that Prof. Yilwatda’s doggedness, inclusiveness, and consistent drive to ensure that every stakeholder feels a genuine sense of belonging have remained defining attributes of his leadership, earning him widespread confidence, trust, and solidarity across the party hierarchy, including the support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other key stakeholders.

Rt. Hon. Daniel further observed that during his previous tenure, the APC recorded notable growth in internal cohesion, organizational structure, and strategic coordination. He expressed confidence that his return will consolidate these achievements and further reposition the party for greater unity, stability, and electoral success.

The Speaker also commended the leadership of the party, including the President and Commander-in-Chief, the Vice President, the leadership of the National Assembly, governors, and members of the National Executive Committee, for their wisdom in ensuring a seamless and consensus-driven process. He described the emergence of Prof. Yilwatda as a reflection of fairness, inclusiveness, competence, and national unity.

He assured the National Chairman and other members of the National Working Committee of the unwavering support, loyalty, and solidarity of the Plateau State House of Assembly and the entire people of Plateau State.

While wishing them a successful and impactful tenure, the Speaker prayed God Almighty to grant them wisdom, strength, good health, and divine guidance to steer the affairs of the party to greater heights.
