Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council, Shehu Bala Usman has signed the Twenty Twenty appropriation budget  passed by the state House Assembly.


Shehu signed the  Budget before the budget officer of the state House of Assembly, Alexander Dawan and other Management officials of the Local Government.


The Chairman disclosed that the total budget size has the sum of five Billion, five hundred and  fifty eight million, eighty three thousand, eight hundred and fifty one naira only.(N5,558,083,851.00)


While giving the breakdown of the budget,the Chairman, Shehu Usman stressed that the Sum of Eight Hundred and Eighteen million, Seven Hundred thousand naira only is capital expenditure. 


He noted  that the recurrent expenditure has the sum of Four Billion , Seven Hundred and thirty nine million,Three Hundred and Eighty Three Thousand,Eight Hundred and Fifty One Naira only.


The Chairman appreciated the members of the Plateau State House of Assembly for their understanding, cooperation and support in ensuring speedy passage of the budget.


He said  with the  passage and signing of the budget, it will ensure  acceleration of more  developmental projects for the citizenry.


Usman  applauded his management team for their unflinching support at all times, vowed desire of his administration to run an all inclusive governance to give the people of the locality a better future.


The Budget officer of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Alexander Dawan Commended the Chairman for his steadfast and commitment  in presenting a budget proposal that has direct bearing on the lives of the people. 


He  pledged the House's  support for  the Chairman to succeed in his assignment.
