The Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sale Yipmong has pledged continuous support to the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) Plateau State chapter.

Rt. Hon. Saleh Yipmong stated this during the send-off/Award ceremony of the Union, held today at the National Film Institute, Jos.


The Theme of the event is the Place of unionism in the 21st century, with focus on the challenges of Post-Covid 19 and the plight of media and cultural workers (RATTAWU) in Plateau State.


Rt Hon Saleh Yipmong while presenting the award assured them of his commitment towards enhancing the effectiveness of the union. The lawmaker says the Plateau State House of Assembly's door is always open and ready to partner with the union.


He said that as government, they are aware of the dangers and hardship inflicted on citizens by the covid 19 pandemic, and urged the union to continue to find ways to improve the economy through their profession.
