Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Abok Ayuba felicitates with the Plateau State Deputy Governor, Professor  Sonni Tyoden on the occasion of his 70th birthday. 


The Speaker in a congratulatory message issued by his Press Secretary, Bulus Atang, described Professor Tyoden as an elder statesman, academic guru and an administrator who has carved a niche for himself and has contributed immensely to the growth and development of plateau state, Nigeria and outside the Country by bringing to bear his rich academic knowledge and requisite wealth of experienced to the rescue administration of Plateau State. Abok added that, the conduct of Prof. Tyoden as deputy governor has been exemplary, impressive, remarkable and commendable.


The speaker said, it is  cheering news to see an outstanding achiever  celebrating yet another fruitful year on earth, noting that his attributes of hardwork, patriotism, commitment, simplicity and royalty has endeared him to the admiration of the people. 


He stressed that, Plateau State is happy to have a Deputy Governor of Professor Tyoden's calibre in view of his track record in the academia and other spheres of life, and prayed that God in his infinite mercy shall continue to grant him long life, good health and wisdom to the benefit of plateau people and humanity in general. 


According to the speaker, Professor Sonni Tyoden, served University of Jos in different capacity including being a Vice Chancellor where he accomplished his assignment with tremendous successes and urged him to continue to offer to Plateau State and the nation his wealth of experience and knowledge, particularly to the younger ones. 


The Speaker said, the principal officers, honourable members, management and staff of the plateau State House of Assembly join the government and people of Plateau State, Prof Tyoden's family, friends and associates in celebrating the Deputy Governor @ 70.
