Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong have stated that his administration more passionate about creating an enabling environment for investors to do business without hitches.

Lalong gave the assurance Monday during the official flag off of partnership with an airline company, Max Air.

Lalong landed Yakubu Gowon airport Heipang,Jos from Abuja alongside other top government officials exactly 6:05pm inside SN-BBM Maxair plane that has the capacity of conveying one hundred and fifty passengers.

According to him, today is a very happy day and historic as you know it has been long to have this.

"Part of our policy is economic rebirth and we cannot do economic rebirth without ease of movement then we have ease of doing business. Just recently,we have saw eagerness by a lot of investors coming to do business in Plateau State but then our roads are not too good.

"We thank Mr. President for restructuring the airport and we also thank the effort of our National Assembly Members ably lead by deputy speaker for looking to our roads.

"Today we are putting this one for business men for those who want to come and invest in Plateau having made Plateau State home of peace and tourism we want people to flow to Plateau without any difficulty. No more road blocks, no more arm robbery, within 25 minutes your in Abuja and 25 minutes your back to Jos.

Let me used this opportunity to thank Plateau people without your support we can't achieved this. Most especially in terms of peace, once we have peace we have a lot of potentials and we will have a lot of investors coming here; and not only for investors but also to ease the movement of our songs and daughters when  they want to move from here go to Lagos, Abuja and fly every where.

"Flying from Abuja to Jos you know the weather in Jos is good. As were preparing to move to Jos, if we would have not stop people from booking even the Governor cannot get a sit and that why I am praying as we flag off today the Almighty God will help us to fly from here to abroad.

"The sky will not only be our limit but our beginning so that we continue to fly friendly, there will be no accident. We want to ensure we partner, and we have insurance that people would fly safely and also come back safely," Governor Lalong concluded.

National Assembly deputy speaker, Ahmed Idris Maje said every Nigerian is proud of this milestone achievement as Governor Lalong make it more easier for people to fly at ease.

He acknowledged that this is best that has happened to the state, believing the airport under the present dispensation will become an international in a near future.

Minister of women affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen who is optimistic about the development opines that the gesture would go a long way in attracting more investors to the state.
