The forum of All appointees in Barkin-Ladi LGA today met at the All Progressives Congress party Secretariat in Barkin-Ladi town to access the level of preparedness of the party for the planned membership registration/revalidation excercise in the country. The meeting was co-chaired by the Commissioner for Science and Technology; Hon. Gyang Dung Musa and Hon. Da Jock Alamba, Chairman Management Committee of Barkin-Ladi LGC.  


Hon. Gyang D. Musa, urged the forum in the LGA to be in forefront of the registration excercise in other to achieve success.


The commissioner added that, the registration exercise is a national assignment which must not fail; especially in Barkin-Ladi. Saying; the purpose is to bring into the fold new members who have interest in joining the APC from the grassroot.


Hon. Musa, charged the forum to do the needful by mobilising interested people in their various polling units and wards in the Local Government, adding that all efforts should be geared towards the success of the exercise.


”This is not the period for egoism or interest clash but the period to mobilise members for our great party. This is the period to show that you have the interest of the APC at heart by engaging ourselves in constructive reconciliations".


”We will ensure due process is followed during the exercise because the interest of the party supersedes the interest of an individual"- Hon. Musa said.


Also, The chairman, Management Committee of Barkin-Ladi LGC; Hon. Hon. Jock Alamba, urged the forum to ensure that everybody is given a sense of belonging during the exercise, saying that new and old members have equally right in the party.


Hon Jock, assured the forum of the party's resolve for a seamless, transparent and all inclusive registration exercise.


”I want you to ensure that, nobody will be sidelined. I assure that no stakeholder or member will be denied to participate in the exercise”- said Hon. Jock.


The forum showed optimism towards the registration excercise and urged those who want to join APC from other political parties to utilise the opportunity created by the registration exercise to register with it.


The appointees present are; The Commissioner for Science and Technology, Management Committee Chairman of Barkin-Ladi LGC, Special Assistants to the Executive Governor, Supervisory Councilors, Part-time Councilors as well as the APC Caretaker Chairman and secretary of Barkin-Ladi LGA.
