Plateau State President of traditional Council of Chiefs and Emirs Gbong Gwom Jos, His Royal Majesty Da Jacob Buba have stated that the industrial training fund (ITF) remains one of the Federal Government must vibrant and successful agency in terms of service delivery.

Buba urged ITF not to relent on their efforts as Nigerians will continue demanding for more daily.

The Monarch disclosed this on Tuesday when the director general of industrial training fund, Sir Joseph Ari led House of Representatives Members committee on industry in a courtesy visit to his palace.

Gbong Gwom Jos call on the National Assembly Members to continue discharging their responsibility effectively.

He said Nigeria is witnessing rising insecurity which has become a thing of concern, therefore there is need for 9th Assembly to join hands with the executive Armed of Government to find the situation and end the menace.

He laments that the: " Killings in the country is uncalled for. You must commit yourself and do a lot of sacrifice to find lasting solutions to insecurity.

"We will continue to pursue peaceful resolution of Nigeria so that we can develop like other nations in the world", he stated.

House of Representatives committee chairman on industry Hon. Enitan Badro said essence of coming to Plateau and ITF in particular is part of their oversight function.

Badro acknowledged that ITF through the leadership of the current Director General Sir Joseph Ari had revolutionalized the economic fortune of Nigeria.

He described Gbong Gwom Jos as epitome of selfless service to humanity ever since when he was a controller general of the Nigeria Custom service and now as a custodian of people culture and tradition.

The House of Representatives committee also stretched their familiarization visit to Old Government House Rayfield Jos.

Received by the deputy Governor of Plateau state, Prof. Sonni Tyoden said ITF have played critical role in training and empowerment of Youths.

He said the state have a good working relationship with the institution.
