The management committee chairman Riyom Local government Hon. Dr Gwallson Mafeng formally inaugurated the Plateau state civilian security joint task force in the Riyom Local government area. 


Hon. Dr Gwallson said the aim is to curtail the security challenges Riyom is faced with and also to dictate and report early warning signs.


The chairman stated that a monthly allowance will be provided to the 200 personnel that were recruited and trained by the conventional securities.


 They were selected from neighbourhood watch, vigilante, operation rainbow, hunters etc.


The chairman provided 200 torches, 200 rainboots, 200 raincoats, 200 whistles and each was given stipends.
