Senator representing Plateau South in the National Assembly, Prof. Dame Nora Daduut has condemned
in strong terms the skirmishes along Rukuba Road Jos and some parts of Jos North local government leading to the death of citizens of the country most of whom were commuters.
The Senator in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos condemns this heinous act in strong terms and calls on the law enforcement agencies to swiftly apprehend and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Prof. Daduut expresses her deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and urges all citizens to pray for lasting peace in the country.
" I call on citizens of the state to stay peacefully with one another, let's be our brother's keeper ."
She commended Governor Simon Lalong and security operatives for their proactiveness and called on citizens to cooperate with them to ensure lasting peace in Plateau.
