Plateau South Senator  Professor Nora Ladi  Dadu'ut,

on Wednesday condoled with  Former Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly during the 4th Assembly, Rt. Hon. George Daika over the death of his wife, Mrs Anna  Daika





Didn't in a statement issued on Wednesday described Daika’s late wife as a mother of excellence who supported the husband and family throughout her lifetime.

“I commiserate with my brother on the loss of his dear wife, Mrs Anna Daika ."


“Your wife’s untiring support in an extremely busy and action-packed political career cannot be overemphasized, Her departure must have left you with so much sorrow."




The statement further reads that "The late Mrs Daika was a huge pillar of support to her husband and played the role of a mother, mentor and role model to many whose lives she touched in different ways."


“As we join the Daika family to mourn her peaceful passing, we pray that the Almighty God grant her soul eternal rest and may God grant the Daika's the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.” the Senator further added.



  Our correspondent reports that George  Daika who was also a  former lawmaker representing Mikang, Shendam, Quanpan Federal constituency contested the Plateau South Senatorial bye-elections held in December 2020 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party  PDP    but lost the elections to  Prof. Nora Daduut of the All Progressive Congress APC.
