Hon Geoffrey Teme, an All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives Aspirant for Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency has rejected the purported APC Primaries organised in-house by the Irigwe Chiefdom which endorsed Hon Lumumba Dah Adeh.

Teme's rejection is contained in a letter of complaint dated 25th October, 2021 addressed to the Chairman, Bassa APC, Lobby/Reconciliation Committee for Bassa/Jos North Federal House of Representatives.

Teme said he had notified the Chairman of the APC Bassa LGA, Hon Danjuma Chougo, the Elders Forum Chairman Irigwe Chiefdom, Mr Williams Chattalace and Chief Isaac Davidson that he would not participate in the in-house primaries because there was no agreement on how to conduct the elections and if there is no involvement of all Irigwe APC Ward Chairmen and their Executive Council Members.

Teme accused Mr Lawrence Vogya and his cabal, made of the aides and campaign team of one of the aspirants, Hon Lumumba Dah Adeh for constituting themselves into the electoral college that produced Adeh.

Teme exonerated Chief Dr James Barry and Barr Y.Agagak but insisted that no election took place.

Teme queries on what capacity Mr Lawrence Vogya, the  former Zonal Chairman wrote the report endorsing Adeh. He warned against the merchants of conflict who wished the Irigwe nation no good.

The Bassa/Jos North Federal House of Representatives hopeful,Hon Geoffrey Teme ended his complaint by quoting Gal:6:8 which "says whoever sows to please their flesh from the flesh will reap destruction..."

Teme appealed to the committee, who are men of high integrity and intellect appointed by the APC to disregard any purported report of election that took place in Irigwe Chiefdom.

The complaint was copied to the Executive Governor of Plateau State and the Plateau State APC Chairman for their perusal and necessary action.
