Coalition of Youths in Mikang Local Government Council of Plateau state on Sunday passed a vote of confidence to it's member Hon. Naanlong Gapyil Daniel, describing him as a true representative of the people.


Leader of the group Joseph Nkat Lakai In a statement made available to Newsmen described Hon. Na'anlong Daniel as dogged leader who can neither be manipulated nor intimidated.



“We the entire youths of mikang are proud of our representative and the recent decision been taken by him and 15 other members of the State Assembly.


We advised those who are not from our constituency {Mikang} to stop calling our ever-working parliamentarian names, as every Constituency has its representative and should engage them to find out and get first hand information on the recent happening in the State Assembly.



“It has become necessary for us to express our confidence on Hon. Na'anlong Daniel and also warned power-drunk and desperate politicians to stop calling our Honourable member names in regards to the state assembly Saga.


"What is happening in the state assembly is purely a legislative business and nobody should interfere as the legislature is an autonomous body and has every right to choose and chage it leadership" Nkat stated.


The group also call on the Former Speaker Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba to embrace peace and allow legislative business to continue as he can't be impeached twice.


The group also used the opportunity to congratulate the new Speaker Rt. Hon. Yakubu Sanda on his emergence.
