In what turned out to be the highest single donation made to the BECO in a very long time, the Chairman expressed his desire to do more for the people if given greater opportunities.

The donation is coming after an initial donation of 500 thousand naira made by him to support the organisation of the congress meeting.

You will recall that the Chairman made an initial donation of 1 million Naira during their thank you tour to all the districts to appreciate the electorates for the electoral mandates given to the Divine Mandate team, he made the donation to support the reconnection of gyel community to pipe borne water as the project execution was stalled for a long time due to paucity of funds.

The Chairman who is currently contesting for elections to represent the good people of Jos South/Jos East in the Federal House of Representatives in the 2023 general elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) promised to do more if granted the mandate.

The BECO EXCO appreciated the huge donation made by the Chairman and reminded him that this has been the highest single donation made by an individual  Welcome to Gboard clipboard since their assumption of office as an executive committee.

In an interview the Chairman promised a more focused, practical and result oriented representation. He cited an example with the bill seeking to change the name of B/Ladi LGA to Gwol which was the only one not passed by the National Assembly amongst all presented.

He said despite not being his immediate constituency, he can still use his lobbying prowess and the benefits of belonging to the APC which is the ruling party at the center and the state to ensure it is passed as the situation may warrant.
