According to Musa, "It has become very expedient for me to address the world today with mixed feelings over the unabated security challenges bedeviling the good people of Jos East Constituency and by extension The Izere Nation.

"We woke up in the early hours of Friday 20th , January, 2023 greeted with  shocking news of an attack on the palace of Agbang Agwom Izere, Rev.Dr.Isaac Wakili in Shere, Jankasa  by  kidnappers.

"The kidnappers in carrying out their nefarious act were engaged in a serious gun battle by the security personnel in charge of the palace which resulted to the lost of one member of the vigilante , another sustained serious injuries and unfortunately the successful abduction of the first class Paramount chief of The  Izere nation, HRH. Dr. Isaac Wakili to an unknown location.

"The joined security patrol within the local government and Bauchi state government gave their all in all in chasing after the abductors into thick bushes and hills where they successfully rescued the kidnapped father of Izere nation.

"For umpteenth time, security breach in Jos East Constituency would be traced far back as 2021 when innocent lives were gruesomely killed in Fobur District without any news of an arrest let alone the prosecution of the killers .The gory attackers moved close to the local government Headquarters in Angware where Rev.Father Kantoma, the CAN Chairman, Jos East was kidnapped alongside many other innocent citizens in Maigemu District with exchange of huge money as ransom

"With the above agony meted out of our constituents one too many, the people of Jos East Constituency have been thrown into untold hardship and devastating agony which is necessitating us to call on the Federal and State security agencies to take urgent steps towards stemming the tide of insecurity in our localities.

"In conclusion, Jos East Constituency is applauding the gallantry display by the joined security agencies in rescuing our Paramount Chief. Worthy of mention is the Hunters, Neighborhood watch and Vigilante group.

"We equally want to  appeal to the government, security agencies to be proactive in securing lives and properties of it citizens", he mentioned.
