The  Chairman, Plateau State Internal Revenue Service, Mr Arlat Dashe, says the service has trained  23 directors in the organisation to raise revenue generation. 

Dashe  who was represented by the Director Finance and Administration, Mr Paul Katyen, said that the programme, entitled: “How to become High Performance Managers”, would equip the staff members of the service to meet its  target for the year.

The chairman said that the training would enhance productivity at work and create better work environment to actualize set goals.

Dashe said that trained officers would implement skills learned by pass it on to other officers in their various departments.

The Director-General of The Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Joseph Ari , whose staff facilitated the training, said that the training was timely and would enable participants to be proactive in the discharge of their duties.

Ari, who was represented by Mr Zachariah Piwuna, the Director , Research and Curriculum Development Department, said that the training cut across the  knowledge skills and attitude.

He said that participants were encouraged to come up with personal development plan that would validate what had been learned.

He added that the training would add value to participant life and organisation and make them highly productive.
Some of the participants said that they were enthusiastic about the  training.

Mrs Elizabeth Dalyop, a participant, said she had learned ways of motivating her subordinates to achieving set goals within record time.

Kopmut Shadrack, also a participant, said the training was first of its kind and he had learned team work and better ways to relate  with other officers.
