The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi has expressed appreciation to the People of his Constituency for electing him for a second term into the National Assembly.


Yusuf Gagdi was declared the winner by the INEC collation officer for the Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Federal Constituency Prof. Ikoli Ogaji at the Constituency collation Centre in Pankshin Local Government Area.


Yusuf Gagdi polled 81,291 votes to defeat his closest rival Ziphion Chrysanthus who polled 52,495 votes.


In his reaction shortly after his declaration, Yusuf Gagdi thanked the people of his Constituency for re-electing him for the second term.


While promising to provide more dividends of democracy to his people, Yusuf Gagdi sought for support and prayers of all sons and daughters of his Constituency for the task ahead.


Rt. Hon Yusuf Gagdi called on those who contested with him but could not make it to give him the necessary support noting that his re-election is a victory for all irrespective of party differences.


Hon Yusuf Adamu Gagdi was first elected to the National Assembly in 2019 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
