Recall, a letter of Dalung's suspension dated 14th March, 2023 emanated by one Nanmwa Dangnan who claimed to be chairman SDP Sabon-gida ward in Langtang South Local Government, the hometown of Dalung.

The letter which purportedly forwarded to SDP chairman Langtang South was also circulated across various social media platforms, accused the former minister for "involving in anti-party activities, which have been found to be in contravention of the values and principles of the party.

The letter further stated that, " in SDP we try to maintain high standard of integrity, transparency and accountable in all our actions and dealings. It has come to our attention that you are detrimental to the overall interest of the party and its members.

"In the light of the above, we have no other option but suspend you from the party with immediate effect.

" this suspension will remain in place pending the outcome of a full investigation into the matter ", the letter concluded as signed by Nanmwa Dangnan.

In a swift reaction Solomon Dalung through a phone conversation with our correspondent acknowledged that it is a fake news from those who stock in causing tension and panic, in fact didn't like peaceful environment.

According to the former minister, " this is a fake news and forgery. The SDP in Sabon-gida ward is intact and formidable.

"There is nobody in SDP Sabon-gida ward executives bearing the named Nanmwa Dangnan. The person whose name is used he has no knowledge of the forgery using his name. Therefore, it should be discountenanced by the general public", the former minister stated.
