Representative Beni Lar of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP,) has been officially declared the winner of the Langtang North and South Federal Constituency in the February 25, 2023 elections.
Declaring the results, Prof. Jonathan Daniang of the University of Jos maintained that Hon. Beni Butmak Lar, who amassed 42,080 votes, defeated SS Lohnan of the AA, who scored 20 votes; SJ Joseph, ADC, got 136 votes; VB Venman, APC, scratched 21,345 votes; KP Dandam, LP, recorded 6,469 votes; RS Ibrahim, NNDP, pulled 96 votes; SS Dalung, SDP, got 3,369 votes; while Yarnap Dashe of the YPP, scored 3,087 votes.

One of her constituents, Nankpah Bwakan said Honourable Lar’s reelection was as a result of her impressive performance in the last 16 years and expressed confident that her performance in the 10th will surpass the previous records.

He further assured the people of Langtang North and South Federal constituency, Plateau State and Nigerians to expect better legislative representation from the lawmaker saying with Lar as their representative in the Green Chamber better things will come to constituency and the state at large.
