The Honourable Commissioner of Information and Communication, Plateau state, Hon.Musa Ibrahim Ashoms has assured to bring his vigour, vitality and energy to take the Ministry to a better level.

Hon.Ashoms made the statement during the handing-over ceremony, at the Ministry of Information and Communication, JD Gomwalk Secretariat, Jos, held Thursday.

He described Governor Caleb Mutfwang is a "goal-getter" and a man that loves Plateau as he is passionate about its development and goals of the state.

According to the  Commissioner, the Governor has tasked all appointees with the mandate of moving the state forward. "So as his lieutenant,I am going to support the Governor hundred per cent and will rally around him because the governor cannot do it alone and neither can the appointees."
He pointed out that it is his earnest desire to be on record as someone that brought energy and the needed change that is needed. Not the change that will bring set back to the Ministry. 

Ashoms disclose that he is very hopeful that in no distant time, the government is going to achieve success across the board.

The Commissioner reiterates to bring succour to the farmers whose farmlands were destroyed by assailants because they want the people to remain in abject poverty, noting that "Governor Mutfwang has initiated a process of about nine hundred hectors of farms whereby farms are being tilled for the people to plant some seasonal and perennial crops. The Governor has assigned ASTC to go into the local governments that have suffered attacks recently", he stated.

Ashoms also stress that the government will be engaging with the people and they will be informed about the various activities of the government. At any point that government derail people should not hesitate to criticize the government constructively. He maintains that under his watch as Commissioner of Information and Communication government.
