Hon.Nantip Padur, PDP youth leader Plateau State

The chieftain and youth leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Plateau State chapter, Hon. Nantip Padur, has lauded Governor Caleb  Mutfwang’s achievements within his hundred (100) days in office despite the teething challenges, highlighted the solid foundation laid by the administration.

Hon. Padur stated that the opposition wailers are too sadistic to come to terms with current realities as the shocks of defeating the incumbent at the just concluded gubernatorial polls in the state were too obvious.

The Plateau PDP youth leader who was fielding questions from newsmen in Jos the state capital, debunked the insinuations in some quarters that the governor has little or nothing to show as a mark of celebration for his hundred (100) days in office as the governor of the Plateau.

The ruling Party Youth Leader in the state was speaking to journalists in an exclusive interview at the premises of the Plateau State High Court, venue of the sitting of the Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

Stressed  that as far as the PDP is concerned on the Plateau and, by extension, Nigeria as a whole, the party is performing well. Governor Mutfwang, as he is known, is a man of principles.
He further said what the governor has done within the shortest period of his stay in office is amazing, which some Doubting Thomas will not agree with until it is unveiled by the governor.

He said the performance of the governor, Mutfwang, will earn him a second tenure as governor of the plateau, not just the hundred days in office they are just talking about now.
The governor is a silent achiever who has been working and laying the foundation for the rapid and steady growth of Plateau State.

He has brought investors to the state for investment negotiation and added that, as it’s now, some investors are presently in the state on the instance of Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

The governor is trying everything possible to see that he delivers the dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of every citizen.
“What Mutfwang is doing under ground for the benefit of average citizens of  Plateau will shock you, he maintained.”

One cannot stop the opposition from saying what they are saying because it is very difficult to come to terms with losing an election; moreover, they were the incumbent whom the Plateau citizenry detasted and overwhelmingly rejected with the manifestation of the most celebrated victory of the PDP at the polls.

With a hundred days in office, Governor Caleb Mutfwang has done a lot, the party loyalists reiterated.
On the Election Petition Tribunal judgments in the state that have gone in favor of the PDP so far, he said he has passed a vote of confidence on the judiciary over the landslide judgments that had been entered in favor of the party (PDP) and stressed that the judiciary is up and doing in giving an undiluted judgment in favor of the party.

“We are very happy with the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, and by extension, Nigeria in general. We know that what the judiciary is doing is in line with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He further added that the court knows that those who truly won the election, in respect to the issue raised regarding the party in the state, did have structure, and the candidates are validly nominated.

With the judgment so far, it is obvious that the party has a very strong structure and that the candidates that contested the election under the party are all validly nominated and sponsored by the party, contrary to the insinuations of the petitioners, the ground upon which the petition of the petitioner is predicated.”
