Hon.Josephine Piyo, Deputy Governor Plateau State

Plateau State Deputy Governor, Mrs Josephine Piyo, has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in Plateau State on the occasion of Eid-el Maulud celebration. 

The deputy governor in a statment called on the Muslim ummah in the state to pray for the unity and peaceful coexistence among citizens of the state

Piyo, who congratulated Muslims in the state and the country nation in general, charged them to emulate the good teachings of the Holy Prophet which is hinched on love, tolerance, charity selflessness and humility. 

 She further admonished them to use the occasion to seek God's face at all times and pray for the end of the current security challenges in the state and the nation in general. 

The Deputy Governor stated that the Caleb Mutfwang-led administration values the support and prayers of Muslims in the state and urged them to continue to be steadfast , focused and exhibit commitment in contributing to the overall turn around of the state. 

She said that the teachings of the Prophet should always serve as a guide in their daily activities and promised that the administration would continue to embrace everyone irrespective of tribe or religion. 

While wishing them a peaceful and remarkable celebrations, Piyo charged them to be good ambassadors of Plateau state at all times.
