PROFESSOR DAVID PAM YAKUBU FELICITATES WITH PROFESSOR NENTAWE YILWATDA GOSHWE OVER HIS APPOINTMENT AS HUMANITARIAN AND POVERTY REDUCTION MINISTER.


The news of your appointment by Mr President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR as the Minister Designate for the Ministry of Humanitarian and Poverty Reduction did not come to me as a surprise going by your unblemished track record. Indeed, this is a well deserved recognition of your dedication, expertise, ability to proffer solution to problems and tireless service to our dear Nation.


Your leadership in this critical and strategic position is both timely and inspiring, and I am confident that under your stewardship, we will witness significant strides in the reduction of poverty and improvement in the lives of the most vulnerable in our society. Indeed, I have no doubt that your vision and commitment will help bring about transformative changes in the Humanitarian sector.


Working as the Chairman of the Directorate for Support Groups in your Campaign Council afforded me the opportunity to closely notice your exemplary leadership qualities and someone with genuine empathy for the people. Your appointment as the chief servant of the Humanitarian Ministry is apt and spot-on.


I therefore, pray along with you and the entire Plateau people as you prepare for your screening on the floor of the Senate. It is my fervent belief that it will be swift and smooth considering your pedigree.
