The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE has showered accolades on the leadership qualities of the Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council John Kyohroh Christopher in his first hundred days in office.
Branch Chairman of the Union in Jos North Local Government Council Thomas Kaze stated this in an interview with the Information Unit, said the area under the present administration of JK Chris is wearing a new look following the remodeling and furnishing of the Legislative Chamber as well as the establishment of an ICT hub.
According to the Union Leader, NULGE will support any leader who will enhance the capacity of the staff and create a conducive atmosphere for workers to equip themselves with the knowledge of ICT in fulfillment of the desire of the State Local Government Service Commission.
He emphasized that it is the Union's hope that leaders should carry citizens along in the affairs of governance noting that JK Chris is moving on the right trajectory towards enhancing the growth and development of citizens and the locality.
The Union assured the Chairman of the staff unflinching support and cooperation to his administration efforts surpassing the hundred days achievement till the end of his tenure.
He appealed for more training and retraining of staff to enable them meet up with the contemporary trends in discharging their duties.
The Jos North NULGE Chairman opined that the Council Chairman has so far started on a right path and called on him to remain focused in his commitment to sustain the trust the staff and citizens have in his administration.
