A New Chapter for Imo State Youths: Comrade Onah Osita Kingsley Appointed UYAN National Liaison Office  

Imo State’s youth development landscape has taken a significant step forward with the appointment of Comrade Onah Osita Kingsley as the Imo State National Liaison Officer for the Unemployed Youths Association of Nigeria (UYAN). This role, under the Office of the National Directorate, Government and Democratic Matters, highlights a renewed commitment to tackling youth unemployment and fostering empowerment.

The official presentation of the appointment letter was a notable event held at the office of the Director General Comrade Syvester Ugochukwu Emeana at the national headquarters in Abuja, attended by key figures from UYAN and the African Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly. Among the attendees were:  



Comrade Onah Osita Kingsley: Now tasked with bridging the gap between UYAN and Imo State’s youth, his role will focus on advocacy, resource access, and initiatives to combat unemployment.  

- Comrade Syvester Ugochukwu Emeana: As UYAN’s National Director, he drives the organization’s mission to address youth unemployment and promote democratic participation.  

-H.E. Amb. Dr. Engr. Kingsley Okwara: Deputy Head of Mission for the African Union Agenda 2063 Ambassadorial Assembly, his presence underscores the connection between local youth initiatives and continental development goals.  

-Amb. Dr. Mustapha Olayinka and Amb. Dr. Adelanke Peter: Both prominent figures from the AU Agenda 2063, their participation highlights the importance of aligning local youth empowerment efforts with broader continental strategies.  

This appointment signifies a pivotal moment for Imo State’s youth, with Comrade Kingsley expected to:
