Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos, has launched a significant road grading project, covering approximately 5 kilometers within the academic area.
Notably, this project is entirely funded through the university's internally generated revenue (IGR), marking it as the longest self-funded infrastructure initiative in recent years.
Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Shedrack Best emphasized that this project underscores PLASU's commitment to creating a conducive learning environment. This initiative aligns with the university's broader strategy to expand its infrastructure and academic offerings.
Since its establishment in 2005, PLASU has significantly grown, now offering over 70 programs across 11 faculties, a substantial increase from the initial 16 programs.
The road grading project is expected to significantly enhance the campus experience for students, faculty, and staff.
By prioritizing infrastructure development, PLASU is solidifying its position as a growing hub for academic excellence in the region.
