Czech Republic football club FK Varnsdorf has signed two Nigerian players, Jubril Musa Tiyene and Ernest Lawal, from Global Peace Football Club in Jos, Plateau State.

Jubril Musa Tiyene, a right full-back, and Ernest Lawal, a winger who can also play as a striker, now join the growing trend of young talents emerging from Jos, Plateau State, making their way into professional leagues abroad.

The CEO of Global Peace Football Club, an NLO side and Global Peace Advocacy and Empowerment Initiative, Ambassador (Chief) Badamasi Sadiq Ibrahim, expressed his excitement about the club's achievements so far. He added that their journeys are just the beginning, and hopefully, the boys will shine on the global stage.

Varnsdorf is a professional soccer team based in the town of Varnsdorf, located in the northern part of the Czech Republic. Founded in 1945, the club has a rich history and is known for its passionate local support. Varnsdorf competes in the Czech National Football League, the second tier of Czech football, where it has established itself as a competitive side.
