CNEG Felicitates With Muslims on the Occasion of Eid-el-Kabir
The Coalition of Northern Ethnic Groups (CNEG) extends heartfelt greetings and best wishes to President Bola Tinubu, all Muslim faithful across Northern Nigeria and the entire nation on the blessed occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
This sacred festival, rooted in the profound story of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), symbolizes obedience, sacrifice, and unwavering faith in the Almighty Allah. The act of sacrificing rams commemorate the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to offer his son Isma'il (peace be upon him) in total submission to Allah's will a lesson in trust, devotion, and sacrifice that remains relevant for all times. As we celebrate this Festival of Sacrifice, we encourage the Muslim Ummah to reflect on its core values of humility, generosity, patience, and submission to the divine will. In these challenging times for our nation, these virtues are not only spiritually enriching but essential for national unity, peace, and development.
CNEG calls on Muslims across the region and country to intensify prayers for our leaders-at local, state, and federal levels-asking the Almighty to guide them with wisdom and courage as they navigate the affairs of the nation.
We also pray for the safety and spiritual upliftment of all pilgrims across Nigeria performing this year's Hajj. May their prayers be accepted and their return home be safe and blessed.
Barka da Sallah! May this celebration bring renewed faith, enduring peace, and abundant blessings to all.
Signed:
Engr. Tanko Dauda ( CNEG)
