I, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel, Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, on behalf of the Principal Officers, Honourable Members, and Staff of the Plateau State House of Assembly, heartily felicitates with the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Vice President,  Kashim Shettima, GCON, President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudee Abbas, Principal Officers and Members of the National Assembly, as well as Chief Justice of the Federation, on the historic occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

The Speaker equally congratulates Governor Caleb Mutfwang, his Deputy, Ngo Josephine Piyo, as well as the State Chief Judge, Hon. David Mann,His constituents in Mikang and the good people of Plateau State, as we join millions of Nigerians in celebrating this milestone.

This anniversary offers us a unique opportunity to reflect on our journey as a nation as we celebrate our collective achievements, and renew our commitment to building a greater and more prosperous Nigeria. 

It is a time to rekindle the spirit of unity, resilience, and patriotism that has kept us together as one people, despite challenges.

We in the Plateau State House of Assembly remain firmly committed to the cause of peace, development, and progress, as we reaffirms our commitment to work in unity for the overall interest of our dear state and the nation at large.
