A group under the platform of Fursum Progressive Alliance (FPA), has thrown it's weight, supporting reelection of Rt. Hon. Isa Ajiji Madaki, the deputy speaker Plateau State House of Assembly and member representing Jos constituency in 2027 general elections.

FPA declared that Rt. Hon. Madaki has earned a second term through outstanding performance, dedication and commitment to public service in the 10th State Assembly.

The made their position known while speaking to newsmen on Tuesday at Naton LEA Primary school, Fursum District, Jos East local government area, bemoaned a press statement issued by the group known as "Fursum Online and Ofline Voice of Impact", against Madaki.

FPA chairman,Mr. Idris Atsen Fursum and secretary Agwom Aghali alongside other stakeholders acknowledged they were solidly behind Rt. Hon. Madaki to join the race in 2027 general elections taking into account his current representation prowess.
"While we fully respect and uphold Fursum online and offline voice of impact constitutional right to freedom of expression, it has become necessary for us to respond in order to correct
misrepresentations, provide clarity, and reaffirm our collective commitment to truth, unity, and sustainable progress.

"As proud sons and daughters of Fursum District, we remain unwavering in our
dedication to community development driven by merit, fairness, and impactful
leadership. 

"Our position is clear, principled, and forward-looking in support of the successful second-term bid of Rt. Hon. Ajiji Isa Madaki, Member representing Jos East Constituency and Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly,
who has earned the overwhelming support of the people of Jos East.

"This position is not rooted in sentiment or bias. Rather, it is grounded in the need to reward proven performance, consolidate ongoing progress, and reinforce a culture of excellence in public service.  
On the issue arrangement which is very key in Jos East local government area, but FPA revealed that supporting Madaki for second term does not diminished zoning.

According to them, "looking ahead, upon the successful completion of his second term, leadership would ordinarily rotate to Fursum District in accordance with established understanding and the spirit of fairness, as was the case with Patriot Atang Izam Atang, the then National President of ACCDA, who served for two tenures base on his outstanding performance, after which the next district on the roster (Jos Izere Chiefdom) took over, as the rotational arrangement was not altered.

"For the avoidance of doubt, Rt. Hon. Ajiji Isa Madaki is neither directly nor indirectly involved in any campaign for his re-election.

The growing call for his continuity is entirely organic-driven by the people of Jos East Constituency, who have witnessed firsthand the quality of his representation and the tangible impact of his leadership, which has, by all reasonable standards, surpassed that of his predecessors", they added.
