Plateau youths have been charged on uprightness, urging them to involved in cultivating moral integrity, honesty, and accountability to positively influence society.

This advice was given by a business man, a philanthropist, and Patron, Plateau Youth Council, (Plateau North Senatorial District), Mr. John Gamasaura Katura, on the occasion of solidarity visit by the youth leadership of all indigenous tribes of the zone at his residence in Abuja recently.

Katura, who is also the Managing Director, and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Anaguta Youth Development and Cultural Association, expressed delight by the presence of the delegation, led by respected Pastor Julius S. Rabo, who was ably represented by the Mr. Ezekiel Joseph Zi, saying that their presence was more than a visit; but a powerful symbol of shared hope and collective destiny.

"Your generous words regarding my modest philanthropic efforts towards empowering our youth and fostering a spirit of unity across our beautiful tapestry of tribes and religions were both humbling and energizing. 

"To hear that these gestures are recognized and valued by you, the very leaders at the forefront of our communities, gives greater purpose to the work.

"Your kind declaration of seeing me as a backbone to the youth and your pledged support for my course are honours I do not take lightly.

"They are a charge to remain steadfast, accountable, and ever-dedicated to our common cause of development".

The Philanthropist was particularly strengthened by the delegation's clear and principled reaffirmation of support for the zoning of the Federal House of Representatives seat for Jos-North/Bassa Constituency, to Jos-North Local Government, and the micro-zoning to the Anaguta nation. 

"This stance is not merely political; it is a profound commitment to justice, equity, and the fair rotation of leadership.

"It is also a principle that ensures lasting peace and give every segment of our constituency a true sense of belonging. 

"Your wisdom in championing this arrangement for the sake of fairness is commendable and a testament to your mature leadership.

"In my capacity as a businessman, as the Patron of the Plateau Youth Council for the Plateau North Senatorial District, and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Anaguta Youth Development and Cultural Association, my appeal has always been that the youth must forged a united front, shun all forms of social vices, and reject the destructive path of political thuggery.

"We must come to the realization that our strength lies in our intellect, our character, and our unity. As I often say, a united family always stands strong. 

"Your visionary commitment to uniting the youth, irrespective of tribe, is the very foundation upon which this strong family is being built".

Katura further appreciated the youths for their show of love, their visionary leadership, and for choosing the path of fairness and unity. 

He promised to continued to collaborate with them towards building a future of unprecedented progress, peace, and prosperity for the  people.
