Former aspirant for Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam (PKK) under the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Tongshinen John Gozhak has commended president Bola Ahmed Tinubu  for renewing the appointment of Dr. Pokop Bupwatda as the Chief Medical Director, CMD, of Jos University Teaching Hospital, JUTH.

Gozhak described Bupwatda's reappointment as a testament and recognition of his competence, performance and contributions to the development of the tertiary health institution in Nigeria.

He said Dr. Bupwatda’s first tenure strengthened JUTH through:Infrastructure improvement, expansion of specialist services, modern surgical facilities, digital innovation as well as renewed focus on quality patient care, medical training and research.

According to him, "the true measure of institutional leadership goes beyond the number of projects commissioned, but includes the extent to which an institution becomes stronger, more capable and better positioned to serve the public"

Gozhak noted that the CMD had provided JUTH with "a renewed sense of direction, ambition and institutional confidence," describing his reappointment as both a vote of confidence in his performance and a fresh mandate to achieve more.

He also expressed optimism that the renewed tenure would surpass the achievements of the first, with ongoing projects completed and JUTH attaining greater heights in healthcare delivery, teaching, research and innovation.

"The mandate is renewed, the responsibility is greater and the possibilities are limitless. I hereby congratulates Dr. Poko Bupwatda on your reappointment and wish you greater grace, impact and service in this renewed tenure," Gozhak prayed
