Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Plateau State, Hon. Latep Dabang says "Nigerians deserve to be specially commended for the sustainance of its democracy so far."

In a Democracy Day message he issued in Jos Plateau State, Hon. Letep Dabang said "though the journey hasn't been easy, Nigerians have continuously sacrificed through various means to keep the country going."

In his words, "the labours of our past and present heroes who went through thick and thin to return and sustain our democracy is one that generations to come will continue to cherish.

Hon. Latep applauds all Nigerians for their resilience in handling all challenges faced as a country, and commends them for their unwavering determination to see the country moving forward. Also, he charges all the political class to keep improving in areas of social welfare to better the lives of the people.

Furthermore, he commends His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari for changing democracy day celebration to June 12 in honor of Late chief MKO Abiola, saying, "history will be kind to you for this act of patriotism.."

The APC Chairman salutes Governor Simon Bako Lalong for purposefully steering the ship of leadership in the state with a clear vision and mission to leave a lasting legacy.

He calls on all Plateau state citizens, to continue to support the rescue mission captain irrespective of their differences for the purpose of taking the state to an enviable heights.
