Over one thousand five hundred supporters and top ranking members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Sabo Gida ward of Langtang South in the Southern Senatorial District of Plateau State have defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

  Receiving the decampees in the local government area on Monday, Hon Rims Nimchak said the APC has come to stay in Plateau. 

  He said the APC represents the best interest of Nigeria and Plateau people. “I urged the new members to be dedicated to the party’s principles and ideals. “

  Rims stressed that the party would not tolerate any act of betrayal. He called on the people of the state to continue to support Governor Simon Lalong and the APC at all times. “Our Governor is determined to better Plateau, I urge you all to continue to support him at all times.” 

 Rims said his administration is determined to move the LGA forward. Halso declared that the party is intact and remains one united political party.  “APC in Plateau is growing from strength to strength, our party is very stable in Plateau, and we are one big family. 

 “In APC we run an all inclusive government, we are always in touch with our members.” He said the Party is ready for the Plateau South Senatorial bye election.

said the performance of Governor Lalong in the past five years has been outstanding. “I am determined to make Langtang South great again; the good works Gov Lalong and the APC in my LGA is doing is there for all to see. Rims called on citizens of the LGA to support the APC in the forthcoming Plateau South Senatorial bye election.
