The speaker in a message issued by his Press Secretary, Bulus Atang, described Maje as a worthy torchbearer and Ambassador of Plateau, adding that his style of leadership at the National Assembly engender unity, focus and determination with which the lawmakers working in harmony to serve the nation irrespective of political, ethnic or religious differences. The statement further described Wase as a vibrant, compassionate lover of democracy, detribalized and focused leader whose emergenced, and parliamentary experienced has helped in stabilizing and uniting the house. While urging him to remain focus, the Speaker assured Wase of the ninth State Assembly's continues cooperation and collaboration with the National Assembly members from the State with a view to ensuring that Plateau State is better for it.
