Hon. Gyang Dung Musa, Commissioner for Science and Technology has expressed sadness over the brutal murder of HRH Da Bulus Chuwang Jang, the acting Gwom Rwei of Foron District of Barkin-Ladi LGA, Plateau State by men of the under world.


The Commissioner who was at the Palace of the ruler early hours of today Tuesday 22/September, 2020. Addressing the people, the commissioner described the killing of the traditional ruler as shocking and despicable.


The Commissioner, who was at the palace of the acting Gwom Rwei Foron and the residence of the deceased, sympathised with the immediate family of the deceased, Foron traditional council and the people of Foron over the loss.


He described the demise of Da Bulus as a great loss to the state and promised that Government will take stiffer measures to address security concerns in the area.


Hon. Gyang condemned the killing of the Monarch and assured the people of the commitment of Government to guarantee the security of their lives and property.


“I received the killing of our traditional ruler by unknown persons with great shock and that has shown the need for Goverment to put extra efforts in collaboration with the security agencies to ensure the safety of our people".


“With this unfortunate incident, Plateau State Government will work in close collaboration with security agencies to identify those involved in the killing, so that they will face the full wrath of the law,” he said.


He however, prayed that Almighty God will receive the soul of the departed and comfort his family.
