The Air Force Military School, AFMS, had held its 35th graduation ceremony and passing out parade of the 2014 set of the school at the weekend.
The AFMS Jos which was established in 1980, also held it's 40th anniversary alongside graduation ceremony.
The event saw about 108 Junior Airmen who have successfully completed their secondary academic journey and ready to face their future academic pursuit at the higher levels.
In his welcome remark, Commandant of the school, Wing Commander P.A. Garba, said that the event, which holds annually provide the school the opportunity to review and assess progress made so far.
Garba said the school had produced over 4,000 men who are excelling in their various careers, be it military, captains of industry, politicians, academicians and other field of endeavours.
The commander thanked staff of the school for their resilience and commitment to duty, insisting that their efforts had kept the school afloat.
“The training we give here is one of the best you can find anywhere in the world. And this is because we have a committed and supportive teachers,” he said.
He also commended the support and cooperation of ex-students of the school, and urged them to do more to uplift the standard of academic activities in the institution.
Garba also thanked parents and guardians of the graduands for cooperating with the management of the school in order to provide quality training to their children.
He further commended all the guests at the event for creating time to attend, adding that their presence add glamour and value which would boost the morale of the graduands.
He further advised the graduating class to be good ambassadors of the school wherever they find themselves in the nearest future.
In a brief speech, Gp. Capt. S.A. Adelakun, the Director of Education, NAF Headquarters, assured that the force would continue to maintain standard producing quality and well trained young men into the society.
"We shall not compromised on the standard our schools are known for. We ensure that we send out quality products into the wider society," he said.
He also urged the graduates to be good ambassadors of the institution and the NAF.
