About 1,895 National Youth Corp Members(NYSC), 2020 Batch 'A' Scheme has passed out in which one is to repeat service year and seven of them are to under go different extension in Plateau.

 NYSC as a Scheme and care giver deployed 1,895 graduates sometimes around March,2020, in Plateau State for their one year mandatory service to fatherland.

In her farewell message to the outgoing Corp members held in Bassa LGA, NYSC Secretariat on Thursday, Plateau State Coordinator NYSC Caroline Embu, stated that about "1,895 Corp members are passing out from 2020 Batch 'A' course today. One Corp members will repeat the service year and seven of them to be serve different extension".

According to her, despite COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the world the Corp members remain resolute as they exercise high sense of discipline and commitment in their responsibilities.

" We are happy and proud of you because you contributed your quota in nation building. And where you have to contribute for somebody to excel do not hesitate to do so.

" Be vigilant and security conscious always. COVID-19 is still with us, and as Ambassadors remember to continue adhering to safety protocols. I also wish you well in your various future endeavours. Embu stated.

Some of the outgoing Corp members; Ojo Samson Obaloluwa, Etam Daniel Suleiman, Oji Chikaodili Obumneke and Oyelom Olusegun Emmanuel who spoke with our correspondent said serving in Plateau State is full of wonderful and amazing experienced even though there were little challenges due to coronavirus pandemic. But to the glory of God all things went perfectly.

We can boldly say that we did not regret our stay in Plateau. The State is beautiful regardless of what the people out there said or think. We're been exposed to so many things, make friends and especially the culture and orientation of the people.

We thank God, the NYSC and Nigeria as a country for the opportunity given to us!
