Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Shehu Bala Usman has expressed grief over the death of His Royal Highness Jauro Magaji, Ujah Anaguta of Jos North.
Usman condolences message signed by his senior information officer Philip Eplong,said the demise of the traditional ruler at this time is indeed a great loss not to the Jos North traditional Council but to the people and Government of Jos North Local Government, Plateau State and Nigeria in general.
He described the late Ujah Anaguta as a highly respected Monarch who's reign on the throne helped in promoting Unity and peaceful coexistence in Jos North as well as progress to his people.
Usman maintained that His Royal Highness was a distinguished traditional ruler who dedicated his royal duties towards building a United community, both in his role as a key member of the Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs .
"We will surely miss his royal counsels, fatherly guidance and advice" the Chairman said.
The Chairman praised the contributions of the royal father to the peaceful co-existence and socioeconomic development of his Chiefdom and the state, which he said endeared him to his subjects and all those who related with him.
On behalf of the Government and people of Jos North Local Government, the Chairman conveyed his deepest condolences to his immediate family and the entire Anaguta community over the huge loss of the royal father, praying Almighty God to grant him eternal rest.
