A Social Entrepreneur, philanthropist and promoter of good governance, the Convener Hope Initiative, a non profit organisation,  Bashir Abdullahi ll has declared his intention to contest the  Nasarawa Federal Constituency seat in Kano state.


Speaking with our correspondent in Kano, Abdullahi ll who is also the Founder and CEO Konad group highlighted the soft spot he has for vulnerable and underserved groups such as  the youths, women, children and the elderly, through several philanthropic and Empowerment schemes aimed at improving their human condition.


 He also reiterated  his determination to work towards the  reduction of poverty to its barest minimum when elected .


 Bashir assured that he would strive to ensure sustainable  empowerment by creating an environment that allows the people to continuously generate a source of income and livelihood. 



Bashir Abdullahi ll  further said  his decision to run for this elected office is  to deliver unmatched representation to his constituents,  and speak the mind of his people.


He promised to take advantage of other legislative instruments and privileges to indirectly impact the lives of the people of his constituency and the nation by extension. 


The Youth activist promised to run an open door policy, welcoming feedback from his constituents as democracy is about the people. 


"I would work to ensure that poverty is reduced t its barest minimum in my Constituency if elected" he added .

Mallam Abdullahi II on the subject of unity and cohesion stated that "together we can build block by block, hamlet by hamlet, village by village, town by town, but only together", he emphasised the benefits that lielieth a paradigm shift in the way we conduct our affairs stressing that unity of purpose remains the key.



Mallam Bashir Abdullahi ll f ther made a commitment b ore representatives of the 11 wards of Nasarawa Federal Constituency that his ambition is about service and bringing d elopement to the people.



 He added "I am committed to bettering the lives of the Youth, women the elderly sessing the need for the inclusion of the youth and women in decision making towards a greater and cohesive constituency.


Speaking to our correspondence on the Education day, Bashir Abdullahi II who had earlier paid a condolence visit to the family of late Hanifa Abubakar, the five-year-old who was brutally murdered by her teacher in Kano stressed the need for putting in place better measures towards improving the security of peoples l es and property especially, school children.
