A group under the aegis of waste Metals Recyclers/Dealers Association of Nigeria(WAMERAN), Plateau State chapter has drum support for Hon.Abbey Joseph Aku in the forthcoming Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency bye-election scheduled for February 26th, 2022.

The group who visited Hon. Aku campaign office in Jos donated Billboards, Stickers, Posters, T-shirts and other items to boost his electioneering campaign.

While presenting the items, Secretary of the Association Yunusa Balarabe described Aku as a paragon of humility,open minded and accommodative personality looking at his track records.


"We have watch closely the track records of Hon Aku and the first time we meet him in his office as the commissioner he granted us audience without any protocol or delay.  

"He attended to us, listen to out problems and proffered solution to it immediately. And coming to hear that such person is coming out to contest for House of Representative we will give him full support because we see good leadership qualities in him".


Yunusa believed that Aku deserve to be people's representative as he is familiar with the complex situation of Jos North/Bassa which he will bring his wealth of experience into being.

In the same vein, chairman of WAMERAN, Alhaji Kabiru Shehu acknowledged that Hon.Abbey Aku is the right choice to succeed late Hon. Haruna Maitala because of his experience that is why the Association rally support for him.

The chairman said the association has large membership with their voters card which they are fully ready to stand with Aku until victory is assured.


Receiving the items, Hon. Abbey Joseph Aku thanked the association and promised to disappoint the good people of Jos North/Bassa constituency if given the mandate.

He assured to work on bills and other laws that will promote entrepreneurship and boost the economy of Plateau.
