CONCERNED ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) STAKEHOLDERS IN JOS SOUTH CALL ON THE LGA PARTY CHAIRMAN TO EMPLOY FAIR PLAY TO ALL ASPIRANTS.

Concerned APC stakeholders are calling on the APC Party Chairman of Jos South LGA to be fair to all aspirants ahead of the soon to be conducted APC primaries.

In a statement made available to journalists, the Group called on the Chairman to stop heating the process by his purported endorsement of a particular candidate.

The statement reads;

"Party politics may be an all comers affairs but by no stretch should leadership of the party, at any level be left to the whims of the twisted minds of morally bankrupt persons who will never bat an eyelid in selling their soul for a bowl of rotten porridge.

If not "moral bankruptcy", how does one explain the outright partisanship of a supposed Local Government Party Chairman who has not only openly adopted an aspirant from the pool of multiple aspirants but has gone beyond the mandate of his office to attempt bullying other aspirants to step down.

It can only be imagined by genuine stakeholders and the readers of this piece the amount of LG funds that has exchanged hands between the current Chairman of Jos South LGC Hon. Gideon Dandereng and the Jos South APC chairman Pam Mwanvwang a.k.a Osco, for the latter to throw caution to the wind and try to violate the guidelines of the APC on the processes of arriving at a consensus candidate in a case where there is a plurality of interests.

Osco, Gideon and their gang of followers may be ignorant of what constitutes "consensus" and the slippery path that must be followed in arriving at it but the vast majority of us who believe in and respect the provisions of the ammended constitution of our party know better.

 There will never be any consensus without the express commitment of ALL party members who have indicated interests in contesting the seat or position in question.

The charade that was attempted at the Jos South Local Government Guest House today, Saturday, 30th April, 2022 failed again at the attempt to surrepticiously endorse Hon. Gideon Dandereng as the sole aspirant for the Jos South/Jos East House of Representatives seat of our great party, and will contiinue to fail until a proper process to determine the party's flagbearers from the LG is brought to the fore.

It is appalling to know that Osco has been going for campaigns with Dandereng while wearing his campaign T-Shirts and caps.
Gideon and Osco can continue bullying their yes-men but it ends there since all they will find when they extend it beyond their sorry cycle will be resistance.
All efforts at strangling internal democracy by Osco and Dandereng will be vehemently resisted as true stakeholders of the party at the local government level will not hesitate to escalate this brazen attempted rape of democracy to the State Headquarters of the Party since theirs is a sacred duty of upholding the sanctity of the ballot and the voice of the people.
