A group, the Plateau Progressive Youth Network in Plateau State has thrown it's weight behind Dr Patrick Sunday Dakum to pick the ticket of the All Progressive's Congress ticket for the forthcoming Governorship election in Plateau State.


In a statement made available to Journalists in the State, Convener of the group Sharon Damang said they arrived at this position based on opinion polls conducted by various groups using different fora.


She said Dr Dakum, who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Human Virology Abuja-Nigeria scored 46.1% of the polls to defeat other aspirants and appreciated all those who participated in the polls.


She described Dr Dakum as an honest , competent and pragmatic leader who is always willing to examine issues and listen closely to public concern.


Damang argued that the opinion polls captured more respondents than any other conducted in the State so far.
