The Miango Junction Wing of the Youth Political Forum of Tricycle Riders Union of Nigeria in Jos, the Plateau State capital, has pledged its unflinching support for the Governorship of Dr. Patrick Dakum of the Labour Party in the State.




The Union Chairman, Mohammad Abdullahi, while addressing Dr Dakum Tuesday 20th September, 2022 at his Millionaire Quarters Residence in Jos, said their members are his ardent supporters right from the on set of his gubernatorial ambition while in the All Progressives Congress, APC, based on his track record and contributions to human resource development in the state and the entire country.
According to him, the Tricycle Political Forum has members all over the state that are actively involved in politics, and that their essence of political participation is not for selfish interest but to see how they would contribute their quota in nation building by having synergy with the government for the benefit of the state and tricycle riders.
He added that, if by the Grace of God,Dr Dakum becomes Governor, they will present a blueprint on how they will enhance the revenue drive of the state using their occupation and also how they will stem all forms of criminality using tricycle business, likewise on how the government will better the welfare of tricycle riders and improve their business in the state.
Responding, Dr. Dakum thanked the leadership of the Tricycle Political Forum for their visit and support, saying he has been part of them since the era of motorcycle business popularly called "Going" where he leased out many motorcycles before the transformation of the business into tricycle.
He promised to better their business by improving and empowering their union for greater efficiency if he becomes Governor.
Furthermore, he added that the Tricycle Political Forum Union will actively be involved in his campaign and will be carried along.
