A group known as Progressive group for equity and justice (PGEJ) has called for the Chairmanship position of Plateau Youth Council (PYC) to be micro zone to Bokkos haven't not produced PYC  chairman before.

The coordinator of the group in North Central comrade Joel Golbe made the call in a press briefing in Jos recently as PYC elections deepen.

Recall PYC has zoned the chairmanship position to the central zone according to the tradition of the council to be rotated for fairness, equity, and justice.

many critical stakeholders of the PYC has advocated for it to be micro zone to Bokkos haven't not held the chairmanship position in the history of the PYC but other local governments have produced chairmen.

Last week, PYC constituted the Electoral Committee which is responsible for conducting the next elections, increasing youth activities for the upcoming elections, and that has been in the front bunner as where should it be micro zone to "in the spirit of wisdom and tradition of the PYC, the larger house has zoned offices to Local Government Areas, micro-zoning it for equity, justice, fairness, brotherhood, and togetherness.

Speaking to some of the critical stakeholders of the larger house and PYC members which names are withheld said the only simple way of getting the PYC election done smoothly is to micro zone it just the way the last election was micro zone to Bassa because of fairness equity and justice "hence it will  be right for it to be micro zone to Bokkos haven't  not produced any chairman of the PYC.

This  medium also gathered from some well meaning plateau citizens who are into the PYC politics called for the micro zoning of the PYC chairmanship position to Bokkos "and according to them so many factors has put  Bokkos LGA in an advantageous position to get the micro zoning to them, and also speaking to some civil societies about the PYC  zoning to the central zone and the micro zoning said it should be micro zone to Bokkos haven't not produce PYC chairman before "if this is done then fairness equity and justice will be done to Bokkos, and they also applaud the larger house for their decision of taking it to the central zone and also urge them to consider micro zoning it to Bokkos local government.

This progressive method of micro zoning to those who haven't produced a PYC chairman before which is  highly sustained tradition  that
has kept Plateau Youths together for many years in peace, unity, and harmony. All well-meaning Plateau Youths must resist any attempts by selfish individuals to sow discord among them, ensuring a United Plateau with less or without acrimony in the future they said.

And in the last PYC elections, the Chairmanship position was zoned to the Northern Zone and micro-zoned to Bassa LGA. All contestants who went against the progressive zoning lost the elections, this has shown unity among the Plateau youth council and has really kept them as one family although with individual differences.

All  other offices were zone to Northern and  Southern Zone, in the best interest of justice, fairness, equity, love, and mutual respect and inclusiveness for all the Plateau Youths.

Bokkos LGA in the Central Zone has not produced a PYC Chairman, and the time is now for them to select one from their numerous highly competent aspirants.

Four out of the five Local Government Areas in the Central Zone have had PYC Chairmen which Bokkos should be the next in the interest of the democratic principle of equitable distribution of power which we have all enjoyed over the years.

Mr David meshack a youth activist has also expressed concerns over the tradition which is being threatened by our dear brothers and sisters; the Mwaghavul Youths, who have the Governor, Senator, and the House of Representative Members but are still pushing hard for the position of the Chairmanship. Bokkos Youths are watching closely and this shouldn't be how things are to be done, "and his advice is for those looking for the chairmanship position mostly from Mangu  Mwaghavul to consider Bokkos based  on the sharing formula and to also know that their decision may affect the gentle man arrangement of zoning between the 2 local government which has existed for years because they both need one another, " so in his opinion the Mwaghavul nation should support the micro zoning of the Chairmanship position to go to Bokkos.

History has it that four out of the five Local Government Areas in the Central Zone have had PYC Chairmen which Bokkos should be the next in the interest of the democratic principle of equitable distribution of power which we have all enjoyed over the years.
