Plateau United GM, Habila Hosea Mutla receiving national meritorious award from NANS zone C publicity secretary, Michael Oyewole

Members of The National Association of Nigerian Students ( NANS) zone C have thrown their weight behind Plateau United General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla' s transformative initiatives  in the running  of affairs  in the sports fraternity,a feat that has earned him the conferment of a national Meritorious Award.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation,NANS zone C Publicity Secretary, Michael Oyewole of University of Ilorin, revealed that the students organization is proud to be part of the over 60.1 million students across the country who consistently call for affordable education,fight against social vices on campuses and beam spotlights on reputable individuals in the society amongst other key functions.

Oyewole sought for collaborative synergy with Plateau United FC Amidst the induction of Plateau United General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla into NANS hall of fame plus a symbolic presentation of the National Meritorious Award To him for his remarkable role in the Sporting sphere recently.

According to the Students pressure group body,though the first round of NPFL25 had proven partly difficult for Plateau United,they urged Mutla to remain steadfast in his quest to return the team to where it belongs.

The delegation, comprising of NANS Zone C Public Relations Officer, Omotosho Richard of Plateau State Polytechnic, Emmanuel Isaac Of Nasarawa State University and others sued for better collaborative initiatives between both parties.


In response, Plateau United General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla thanked God for the privilege to be in such a vantaged position as well as appreciated NANS' decision to Beam their searchlights on him.

Mutla called for renewed energies towards ensuring positive student activism considering the irregularities in the educational sector with low budgetary allocations to Education,security difficulties,library degradation,fuel subsidy matters as well as the exhorbitant prices of goods and services in the society.

Following the symbolic presentation of the National Meritorious award to Habila Mutla,a group photograph involving  management staff of Plateau United FC and NANS zone C Excos demonstrated the existing synergy that  followed up as peak of the visit amidst conscious resolve to improve productivity and results in the sporting and educational sectors.

Habila Mutla called on fans and stakeholders to remain calm as efforts are being expedited to ensure the improvement of performance and result. 

Plateau United face Rivers United on Sunday, January 26 in Jos on NPFL Match Day 20, which Marks a continuation of the second stanza of the current season.
