A group under the aegis of Concerned Plateau Youth(CPY) has drawn government attention demanding the removal of Provost Federal School of Medical Laboratory Technology Science, Dr. Obong N.S. Etukudoh with immediate effect over injustice perpetrate to the institution.

The concerned youth group also decried a total deteriorating condition the institution's found itself under the leadership of Etukudoh ever since assumption of office in 27th May, 2007 as he never laid a foundation in the school till date.

In a statement jointly signed by chairman and Secretary of the group, Sunday Dasan and Solomon Sokyes, while news men in Jos said based on their investigation and feedings students from all parts of the country paid a mandatory school fees of over 170,000 and above while those from his state Akwa Ibom don't pay school fees.

They further alleged that the provost(Etukudoh) handles the college as his personal business centre.

"Funds accruing to the college is been diverted to personal used which led to economic and financial crimes commission(EFCC) intervention which the matter has been at the state high court Jos for about five years which was before justice Yakubu Dakwak the current Chief judge of the state, later justice Daniel Longji was appointed to preside over the case in 2017."

The provost has over stayed in office for more than eleven(11) years. "We don't know if the provost  supersedes the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, because this is his third term as provost of the Same institution and he always brags that he has thirteen years to go.

" Under his leadership,public service rule has not been observed because he should have Suspended pending the outcome of the case because he has been in and out of prison twice.

Noting that"No observation of federal character principle in the college e.g Akwa Ibom where the provost comes from has the highest number of staff with more than fifty percent of the work force." They revealed.

The group also disclosed that the college have more than 100 staff on the payroll from Akwa Ibom state that doesn't come to work completely, they only appear where there is verification including the provost daughter, Sifon Etukudoh which is serial number 306 under nominal roll as at 2019 CONHESS but does not even know the location of the institution.

They expressed dismay as drivers on official duty were denied allowances which accumulated to million of Naira, while students of the institution do pay student Union government(SUG) but the provost refused to allow them to form SUG in the college, where is their money going to? CPY asked.

The concerned youth group also urged president Muhammadu Buhari and other well spirited individuals to raise up to the occasion of salvaging the college before it's final collapse.
