NASCO Group of Company Limited has donated some assorted food items to the Federal Ministry of women Affairs and social Development for onward distribution to the less privilege as coronavirus global pandemic lockdown depends in Nigeria.

The gesture said to complement government efforts of providing palliative to cush the effects of hunger amongst vulnerable group in the society amidst COVID-19 lockdown.

Presenting the items, according to NASCO Group of Company human resource manager, Mrs. Bitrus Sarah " we want to complement government efforts to Cushing effects of pandemic lockdown.

"The management, board of Directors and Chairman NASCO group Jos wish to present this items as part of our support to the Federal Ministry of women Affairs and social Development and to the minister herself, Dame Pauline Tallen."

Receiving the palliative items, Tallen who was represented by her personal assistant, Bala Baba Mohammed said the honourable minister appreciates this special gesture from NASCO group of company" with the understanding that following the pandemic of COVID-19 alot of families are suffering in want of adequate good to survive."

He assured genuine commitment in the distribution process to the target beneficiaries devoid of sentiment.

"We assured you that the Federal Ministry of women Affairs would delivered this items to the various stakeholders and families in our communities.

"We want to appreciate and acknowledge your supports at all times when it comes to helping the needy in our society.

"We are very grateful and wish that in a future whenever we have course to collaborate we will do more." Bala concluded.

The assorted food items received by the NASCO group of company includes;25 bags of rice, 30 cartons of supergyttie, 20 bags of salts and 20 cartons of Maggie cubes respectively.
