The National Councilors Forum of Nigeria, Plateau State Chapter, extends its deepest condolences to Governor Caleb Mutfwang and the bereaved families in Bassa, Bokkos, and other affected areas of Plateau State.

The Forum strongly condemns the recent attacks that have resulted in loss of lives and property.

To the families of the victims, NCFN offers its heartfelt sympathies and prayers for the repose of the departed souls.

May the affected communities find strength and resilience in this difficult time.

The forum commends Governor Caleb Mutfwang's proactive approach to addressing security challenges, particularly in fostering synergy with security agencies like the police and Operation Safe Haven.

This according to them his administration's efforts to revamp Operation Rainbow, a state-owned security outfit, and recruit vigilantes to enhance security in crisis-prone areas are notable. We also appreciate the security agencies for their dedication to controlling the situation.

The NCFN Plateau State Chapter urged President Bola Tinubu to redouble efforts in assisting the Plateau State to tackle its security challenges.

Given Governor Mutfwang's successful advocacy for security interventions, the forum believes increased federal support will significantly enhance the state's capacity to manage insecurity.

The National Councilors Forum of Nigeria, Plateau State Chapter, remains committed to collaborating with Governor Mutfwang's administration and security agencies to promote peace and stability across the state.

Together, we can overcome these challenges and build a brighter future for the Plateau State.
