The President of 18 Northern States Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Pastor Yohanna Harry stated that when good people are in leadership position of all ramification people always rejoice because there is peace, joy and happiness.

He said leaders should unite, team up and work together to sustain growth from strength to strength and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ which is one of the Church core mandate and objective.

"Leadership brings honour if it is manage well.Put away self and do the will of God! Learn to live in heaven now because tribes and language was not part of God's plan for mankind".

Pastor Harry gave the admonition to newly elected leadership of Seventh-Day Adventist North East Nigeria Conference consist 7 States of; Plateau, Adamawa,Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe respectively.

The new leadership was decided when 77 Church delegates converged at the 6th Quadrennial Constituency session, held in Jengre Hospital Church from 27th-30th January, 2021, theme" I will Go taking from Revelation 14:6.

The Quadrennial Constituency meeting since its inception normally holds after four years to evaluate, assess and review activities vis-a-vis the performance of leaders in terms evangelism, health and education.

However, the incoming president of North East Nigeria Conference, Pastor Joshua E. Mallum, acknowledge that it is a big task for him to lead about 21 thousand population cutting across 7 states of Northern Nigeria.

Mallum who is the former Secretary of the conference promised to continue from where his predecessor stop, nothing that they ensure proposal for another headquarters in Noman is achieved.

"We have the plan to divide the conference into two. I will engage all directors in evangelism to ease the work load and responsibilities. We need corporation of all membership to excel in this mission", he mentioned.

The outgoing President, Pastor Emmanuel G. Jugbo appreciates God faithfulness for finishing the tenure successfully, opines that leadership is a serious business as the world is so complex, hostile and delicate.

He lament lack of corporation among Church members always been one of the challenge, praying for God to touch the hearts of members to grant his successor more unflinching support.

Other leaders who were also been inaugurated to serve for four years tenure includes; Pastor Dave Onuwa, secretary, Mrs. Mary Lah Mallum treasurer as well as directors and executive committee members.

The event also featured award presentation to some individuals for their outstanding performance in terms of excellent leadership, humanitarian support, contribution to evangelism and missionary work. While certificate is issued to directors and executive committee members who serve for the past four years.
